Very sad to hear Richard has passed away. , having lost finally a long and courageous battle with ill health Richard was a role model for people suffering from alcohol problems, and expressed a wish to write a book to help others with that problem, having recovered successfully himself after a long and difficult struggle. He proved that full recovery was indeed possible. We have fond memories of his lifelong love of horses and dogs, and his cheerful good humour and enthusiasm was always a delight.
